Upper Crust, an international chain of baguette restaurants concentrated along commuter routes, required a refreshed digital experience that could scale across multiple locations while enhancing customer engagement. I led the WordPress development of their website, focusing on a user-centric approach. Key functionalities included embedding an interactive Google Map showing all store locations, integrating pop-up forms for newsletter and promotions, and designing a menu system that leveraged WooCommerce’s product listing—presented in a clean, catalog-style layout rather than e-commerce checkout format.
This solution streamlined the user journey from location discovery to menu browsing, enhancing clarity and accessibility across desktop and mobile. By leveraging WordPress’s flexibility and WooCommerce’s structure, the site remained easy to manage while providing a tailored browsing experience. The outcome was a performant, intuitive website that retained Upper Crust’s brand familiarity while modernizing its interface for scale and operational ease.
